Icy dedans se parachevera.
Les trois grands¹ hors, le bon bourg² sera loin.
Encontre d'eux³ l'un d'eux conspirera.

校訂

　2行目 BON-BOURG を bon bourg とするのは、以下に掲げる英訳版などを基にしたベルナール・シュヴィニャールの校訂によるものである。

英訳版原文

Here in this moneth shall fully be ended
The thre greats without, the good burrow shal be far of
Against those one of them shall conspire.
At the ende of the moneth shall the worke be sene.

（注記）この英訳は英訳版『1559年向けの暦』に掲載されていたものである。1559年向けの予兆詩はオリジナルが現存していないこともあるので、参考のため掲載しておく。

日本語訳

それは今月の内に完成するだろう。
三人の大物を除けば、良き小都市は遠いだろう。
彼らに反抗して、そのうち一人が陰謀を企むだろう。
今月の終わりに窮乏が見られるだろう。

信奉者側の見解

　ジャン＝エメ・ド・シャヴィニーは、1567年10月の出来事（前月に第二次ユグノー戦争が始まっていた）と解釈し、3人の大物をガスパール・ド・コリニー提督と弟2人、BON-BOURG は、コンデ親王ルイ・ド・ブルボンと解釈した。彼らはいずれもこの戦いでプロテスタントの主導的地位にあった人物である(*2)。
